Community Donations

At our business meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, we approved several donations to worthy entities in the community.
Donations included $500.00 to the Lady of
Charities Christmas Store, $300.00 to Saratoga Reads, $500.00 to the Saratoga
County Children’s Committee empty stocking project, and $1,500.00 to the Adopt
a Family Thanksgiving project for the Economic Opportunity Council. Additionally, $4,800.00 will be split into
$800.00 increments to six organizations actively working for the needy in the
community. The recipients are the United
Methodist Church, the Presbyterian New England Congregational Church, the Salvation
Army, St. Clements Church, Catholic Charities and Temple Sinai. The club also allocated $500.00 in the name
of Don Lee to the Saratoga Hospital Foundation.
This donation is meant to highlight Don’s longstanding commitment to
Rotary and to his community.
