As 2011 came to a close, Brad
Sexauer, Bob Soffarelli, and Bill Young told club members about the
Programs The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International sponsored with

Our club has a goal for the fiscal
year, July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, of 100% participation in Rotary Foundation
giving by our club members. To date, we have achieved 60%.
We now launch Phase 2 to secure 100%
member participation by the date of our installation of new officers in
June. For those of you who have
generously donated to this primary activity of Rotary, our Committee is most
grateful. Donations by members have ranged
from a few dollars to several hundreds!
No matter the amount given, our club
has generously matched your contribution.
All monies are recorded in an on-line account that you may access using
your personal identification number. You
will find that number printed on your Rotarian magazine cover or contact John
Nelson at johnnelso@aol.com. Google Rotary Foundation and enter your
number. You will receive a confidential
report of the money you have donated indicating the amount and year.
Once your account records $1,000, you
will automatically be awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF). An honor all Rotarians can be proud to
achieve!
If you are not already a PHF, a
donation of $100 is matched by our club.
Furthermore, you will be eligible for a match of $100 from the
District. Thus resulting in a value of
$300 in your account. In just a few
years you can achieve that goal!
