Rebuilding Saratoga Volunteer Day
Apr. 26, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

We have been asked to help build some benches and a kayak holder as well as help with trail making around their pond.

The Charlton School is for young women who have trouble succeeding in their communities. This may be due to struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, self-injurious behaviors, bipolar disorder, school refusal, feeling guarded, and other mental health challenges.

Historic Homes Tour
May 10, 2025

Join the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation and Honorary Chair Larissa Hawley for the popular Historic Homes Tour on Saturday, May 10! This year’s tour returns to the distinguished North Broadway neighborhood, providing the rare opportunity to view the interiors of a new group of beautiful private homes and buildings, both in-person and virtually.

This is the Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and helps to underwrite our mission to preserve and enhance the architectural, cultural, and landscaped heritage of our wonderful community

The Firecracker 4 begins at 9:00 a.m. on Broadway in front of the Saratoga Springs City Center. Runners proceed south several blocks, passing many of the city’s historic buildings and Congress Park, and then turn into the city’s East Side neighborhood on this fast and challenging course.

2025 Saratoga Hospital Cancer Survivor Retreat
Sep. 19, 2025 11:00 a.m. - Sep. 20, 2025 6:30 p.m.

We will be helping Saratoga Hospital bring their retreat materials to the Lake George Wiawaka Retreat Center.

There will be two groups

Fri 9/19

  • We will be prepped to load the U-Haul at 11:00am from the same two storage areas at Saratoga Hospital – starting at the back of the Radiation Oncology Center then heading across campus to 59D Myrtle Street where the tents are stored.
  • Following loading we head out to the Lake George Wiawaka Retreat Center https://www.wiawaka.org/
  • After unloading at Wiawaka the U-Haul can remain safely parked overnight at the retreat center.

Sat 9/20

  • We can meet at Wiawaka at 4:00pm; load the U-Haul and return to Saratoga Hospital to unload.
  • Like last year, my target is that we are finished unloading no later than 6:30pm.

Rotary Area MEGA Visit
Sep. 25, 2025 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Get ready for fellowship, fun, and local connections at the MEGA area visit!  I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining Areas 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 for a visit on September 25, 2025 from 6-8pm, hosted at the Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs.
Area Visits are a wonderful opportunity to:
  • Connect with MANY nearby clubs and fellow Rotarians
  • Learn more about the exciting work ahead for CNY Rotary
  • Celebrate our shared commitment to Unite for Good
I can’t wait to meet with you, hear about your club’s service and fellowship, and enjoy this moment of Rotary spirit together.  Please feel free to invite Rotary friends from other areas, or potential new members—these gatherings are open to everyone, and the more voices and smiles we share, the stronger our connections become.
Click here for your area visit details and please register by Sunday, September 21st.
Thank you for all you do to make Rotary a force for good. I look forward to seeing you soon!
