On September 7, 2012, Saratoga P.L.A.N opened the 45-acre Rowland Hollow Creek Preserve in Saratoga Springs.  The Preserve, located off Grand Avenue, west of Slade Road, includes nearly a mile of trails consisting of a ½- mile loop and a shorter ¼-mile loop.   The trails were made possible by our $20,000 major gift awarded earlier this year.

The Preserve is part of an innovative conservation subdivision project, which created the Preserve in conjunction with the new Meadow Vista Estates development. A wooded trail system invites people to safely explore the Preserve while the woodlands protect wildlife habitat and the unpaved lands protect the water quality and wetlands surrounding Rowland Hollow Creek.

The Preserve’s sign on Grand Avenue prominently displays the Rotary logo next to the Saratoga Plan logo, forever memorializing our gift to this worthy project.
