SARATOGA HOSPITAL AND THE SARATOGA SALVATION ARMY NEWEST CORPORATE MEMBERS OF SARATOGA SPRINGS ROTARY CLUB (from recent Press Release)
Saratoga Hospital and the Saratoga
Salvation Army are the newest members to join the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club
under the new corporate membership program instituted in 2011. The Club serves the Saratoga community by
providing funding, expertise and labor for local organizations and service
oriented events.
New representatives for Saratoga
Hospital are Angelo Calbone, President and CEO and Jeff Methven, Vice
President/Ambulatory Care and Human Resources.
Brad Sexauer, Vice President for Strategy and Market Development and
Rich Hoffman, Director of Pastoral Care Services
are current Rotarians bringing the hospital’s corporate membership to four. Saratoga Hospital has been a vital part of
the Saratoga community for more than 100 years.
The Salvation Army of Saratoga is
represented in Rotary by Captain Amber Boone.
The organization has a variety of the activities which serves the
community, including programs which provide food and shelter, drug/alcohol
rehabilitation and after school tutoring and enrichment for middle school
students.
Each year, the Saratoga
Springs Rotary Club raises funds for its charitable and educational programs
through the annual Home and Garden Show.
In
recent years, the Club has raised more than $100,000 annually. The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club Home &
Garden Show will be held on Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4, 2012, at
the Saratoga Springs City Center, with proceeds to benefit Saratoga area
non-profit organizations, youth scholarships, and Rotary’s international
humanitarian efforts. Show hours are Friday, March 2 from 5 pm to 9 pm;
Saturday, March 3 from 9 am to 7 pm; and Sunday, March 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.
General admission for adults is $6; children 5-12 are $1, and children under 5

Membership in the Saratoga Springs
Rotary Club offers an excellent opportunity for businesses and individuals to
become more involved and make a positive impact in the community. Members of the Club meet every Wednesday at
12:15 at Longfellows Restaurant for fellowship, lunch, and an informational
program. Community residents and
