SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Hospital and the Saratoga Salvation Army are the newest members to join the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club under the new corporate membership program instituted in 2011.

The Rotary Club serves the Saratoga community by providing funding, expertise and labor for local organizations and service-oriented events.

Saratoga Hospital President and CEO Angelo Calbone and Ambulatory Care and Human Resources Vice President Jeff Methven join Brad Sexauer, vice president for strategy and market development, and Rich Hoffman, pastoral care services, in representing Saratoga Hospital in Rotary. The hospital has been a vital part of the community for more than 100 years.

The Salvation Army of Saratoga is represented in Rotary by Capt. Amber Boone. The organization provides a variety of the activities that serve the community, including programs that provide food and shelter, drug/alcohol rehabilitation and after-school tutoring and enrichment for middle school students.

Membership in the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club offers an opportunity for businesses and individuals to become more involved and make a positive impact in the community. Members of the club meet at 12:15 p.m. every Wednesday at Longfellows Restaurant for fellowship, lunch and an informational program. Community residents and businesses interested in membership are invited to attend. Information about membership is at www.saratogaspringsrotary.org.

Each year, the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club raises funds for its charitable and educational programs through the annual Home and Garden Show, which will be held Friday, March 2, through Sunday, March 4, at the Saratoga Springs City Center.
