Travis Bullard is senior manager of Public Affairs and Communications for Global Foundries. In this role, he helped launch the company in early 2009 as a joint venture between AMD and the Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC) of Abu Dhabi. Today he leads the company’s global corporate public relations activities for the world's first truly global semiconductor foundry consisting of more than 150 customers, 12,000 employees, and eight manufacturing facilities worldwide. Since 2006, Bullard has been a member of the Fab 8 executive team, leading communications, community affairs and media relations. The Fab 8 facility represents one of the largest public-private partnerships in the world. The $4.6 billion facility is expected to be the world’s most advanced semiconductor manufacturing fab, creating thousands of new jobs and helping to develop upstate New York as a premier hub in the global semiconductor industry. Bullard was recently recognized on the Albany Business Review’s “40 Under 40” list for his leadership and community service and he currently serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York, the board of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Leadership Saratoga Class of 2010.
