Dear friends of the Saratoga Regional YMCA,
WE NEED YOUR VOTE TO BRING THE LIVESTRONG® AT THE YMCA PROGRAM TO THE SARATOGA REGIONAL YMCA!
LIVESTRONG®at the YMCA helps people affected by cancer reach their holistic health goals. This research-based program offers those living with, through and beyond cancer a safe, empowering environment to participate in activities focused on strengthening the whole person. Participants work with specially trained Y staff to achieve goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. In addition to physical benefits, the program also focuses on the emotional well-being of survivors and their families by providing a supportive “community” where people impacted by cancer can connect during treatment and beyond.
Here’s how you can help: Go to http://vote.livestrong.org/vote2012/regions/8/223-saratoga-regional-ymca/ to cast your vote for the Saratoga Regional YMCA. Voting ends on Friday, March 23rd at 6pm. We encourage you to pass this link along to everyone you know who can help! The top two vote earners in each district will receive the grant to implement the LIVESTRONG®at the YMCA program.
