Temporary Guidelines for Corporate Membership

I am pleased to announce that the Membership Committee has been approved by the Board on Monday, August 15h in support of temporary guidelines for corporate membership. 

The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club was one of only 25 clubs enrolled in a pilot program approved by Rotary International to accept corporate members.  The program allows four employees from a given corporation or association to be recognized as corporate members within our club.  Each employee will enjoy the privileges of individual membership, and accept the same responsibilities.  More information on the corporate membership is attached to today’s newsletter.  Please keep in mind that the policy can be altered as we move along and work through problems that may arise.

          Please join me in thanking the Membership Committee, chaired by Emily Muller and Don McPherson.  Other committee members are Bob Jackson, Roger Calkins, Jim Olsen, Walter Sankowski, and Sara Dallas.

          Additionally, the Membership Committee will formulate a plan to recruit new corporate and individual members and try to ensure the needs of individual members are met through the year.
