Community Service - Saratoga Hospital Sep. 18, 2026 11:00 a.m. - Sep. 19, 2026 6:30 p.m. UPDATED August 20th: Saratoga Springs Rotarians will help Saratoga Hospital transport equipment and supplies for a cancer survivors event at the Wiawaka retreat center on Lake George. To keep it efficient, our preference is to have ONE volunteer (plus our truck driver Brian C.) assist for both Friday and Saturday. Friday, September 18 11:00 AM - Meet at Saratoga Hospital to load the U-Haul with team from hospital. Begin at the back of the Radiation Oncology Center. Move across campus to 59D Myrtle Street to collect tents and additional supplies. Following loading, our truck driver and crew member (driving his/her own vehicle) will drive to the Lake George Wiawaka Retreat Center (www.wiawaka.org). Then our truck driver will ride back to Saratoga with our volunteer. The hospital will handle unloading the truck. The U-Haul will remain safely parked at Wiawaka overnight. Saturday, September 19 3:30 PM – Our volunteer will transport truck driver from Saratoga to arrive at Wiawaka in Lake George by 4:00 PM. Volunteer can then return home. Truck driver will retrieve the already loaded truck and return to Saratoga Hospital.

Friday, September 18

11:00 AM - Meet at Saratoga Hospital to load the U-Haul with team from hospital.

Begin at the back of the Radiation Oncology Center.
